Hutchison communication announces one millionth download of music content. The content offering, launched at the beginning of 2004, has proved to be a major success story within the music industry. This now signals Hutchison 3 to be a major alternative distribution channel for music in Australia.

The pack will be distributed through Telstra stores nationally in time for the busy Christmas period. The pack will feature exclusive remixes from Australia’s biggest stars, such as Human Nature, Selwyn, Shakaya, Lo-Tel and Charlton Hill, as well offering the customer up to 7 Ringtones or images from the huge catalogue of content on www.generatorcard.com.au . The pack will retail for $19.95 and will be available for purchase from November 2002.
Nov 2002 - Develop exclusive content for Sony Ericsson Mobile Handsets
Aggregate and create mobile content for release of the new Sony Ericsson T200 mobile handset. T200 will be released with exclusive Ringtone and image content. The content will feature Ringtones and images from national and international recording artists, movie stars, sporting heroes and other lifestyle categories.

Already distributed nationally by Telstra and Myer/Grace Bros stores, the announcement reflects the burgeoning success the Generator Card is experiencing in the market place. The youth-oriented product, which retails at $9.95, is an easy product to sell on to communications customers looking for a means to personalise their mobile phone without spending the huge amounts of money usually associated with premium 1900 number services for mobile content.
