Mercury Mobility joined forces for the second year running to recognise the achievements of musicians in the mobile music market. The pair saw a need for such awards after realizing that mobile ringtones and caller tunes are now just as valid a measure of an artist’s achievement as record sales.

July 2006 Hutchinson 3 Contract extended
Mercury Mobility’s contract with Hutchison 3 has been extended for a further 12 months. This contract includes the delivery of Music, Real Tones, Video Tones, SMS Tones, Polyphonic Ringtones, Call Me Tones and Images.
July 2006 Mercury Mobility Europe launch
Mercury Mobility opens an office in the United Kingdom and appoints Jeff Coe as the new Business Development and Licensing Manager. Jeff has extensive experience in the Mobile Entertainment Industry after relocating from our Brisbane office.
